The most popular method is via a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. However, you can also access this site via a PDA, Blackberry, or any device that has an internet connection.
It also means that if you have problems reading this and your browser supports it, then you can alter the size of the text to make reading our website more legible. Follow the instructions below for further details. If no mention of your browser is made, please consult your software documentation.
Making the text larger
Internet Explorer for Windows
- Open the 'View' menu with the mouse or by pressing 'Alt' and 'v' at the same time.
- Select the 'Text size' option with the mouse, or noavigate to it by using the cursor keys.
- Choose your preferred text size by either clicking on the option with the mouse, or by selection the option with your cursor keys and then pressing 'enter'.
Alternatively, if your mouse has a scroll button facility available, hold the 'Control' and roll the scroll button back and forth to alternate between sizes.
Internet Explorer for Mac OS X
- Click on the 'View' menu with the mouse.
- Hover your mouse over 'Text Zoom' and choose a different text size from the listed options.
Alternatively, alter the text size by pressing the 'Apple' and '+' to increase or 'Apple' and '-' to decrease.
Firefox for Windows
- Open the 'View' menu with the mouse or by press 'Alt' and 'V' at the same time.
- Select the 'Text Size' option with the mouse or by pressing 'S' twice.
- Increase or decrease the text size with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing 'Enter'.
Alternatively, alter the text size by pressing the 'Ctrl' and '+' to increase or 'Ctrl' and '-' to decrease.'Ctrl' and '0' returns you to the default size.
Firefox for Mac OS X
- Click on the 'View' menu with the mouse.
- Hover your mouse over 'Text Zoom' and choose a different text size from the listed options.
Alternatively, alter the text size by pressing the 'Apple' and '+' to increase or 'Apple' and '-' to decrease.
Opera for Windows and Mac OS X
You can quickly increase or decrease the size of both text and graphics using the numberpad ' + ' and ' - ' keys. Each press will increase or decrease the size by 10%. However the changes will not be remembered next time you open Opera.
