BSC Awards Examination Technique Day
for the Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health

This free event is intended to help candidates prepare for the Unit 1 and Unit 2 examinations, and for the Unit 2 and Unit 3 assignments.
The day will be led by the Director of Qualifications and the Principal Examiner. The various sessions will focus on examination answer technique, rather than actual subject content.
Candidates will:
- gain an insight into how the assessments are set and marked;
- see where marks were won and lost on previous candidate scripts.

10.00am - 3.45pm (Registration from 9.30am)
- 0930 - 1000 Registration
- 1000 - 1015 Introduction
- 1015 - 1115 Unit 1 examination
- 1115 - 1145 How to prepare effectively for the examination
- 1145 - 1200 Break
- 1200 - 1245 Unit 1 examination
- 1245 - 1330 Break
- 1330 - 1445 Unit 2 examination
- 1445 - 1530 Unit 2 assignment and Unit 3 assignment
- 1530 - 1545 Plenary and close
- Candidates are responsible for their own lunch arrangements.
A maximum of 80 places are available on a first-come, first served basis.
