Introductory Award in Health and Safety

The Introductory Award in Health and Safety is based on the highly successful Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work, which is already delivered by hundreds of companies across the UK. The International syllabus covers the same 14 topic areas, but omits reference to UK legislation.

Uniquely, BSC Awards is offering companies outside the UK the opportunity to establish an online testing centre within their own organisation. One of the many benefits of this approach will be the flexibility to schedule online examinations as an integral part of an in-house training programme.

The flexible learning and assessment model means that, once companies have registered as centres, they can deliver the course themselves using learning materials supplied by BSC Awards. When the employees are ready, the company then arranges the examination (a 40-question multiple-choice paper) which is delivered online directly into their location on a date and at a time of their choosing. The result is then fed back to the candidate almost instantaneously upon completion.
