Becoming a Registered Course Provider of Level 2 Certificate Risk Assessments

A registered course provider is an organisation registered with BSC Awards to deliver training leading to a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification.

Key Benefit

Allows organisations to deliver in-house training using learning materials supplied by BSC Awards and then book workplace-based assessments which lead to a nationally-recognised qualification.

How it Works

  1. Organisation registers with BSC Awards for a fee of £595 + VAT (non-BSC Members) and £495 + VAT (BSC Members) with an annual renewal fee of £100 + VAT.
  2. BSC Awards provides photocopiable student handouts, Powerpoint slides and lesson plans.
  3. Organisation prepares its candidates for the assessment (the course can be delivered in one day).
  4. Organisation books workplace-based assessments with BSC Awards. Assessment fee £30 per candidate (+VAT).
  5. Candidates complete structured workplace-based assessment task in their own time.
  6. Candidates submit assessment task to BSC awards for marking by an external examiner.
  7. BSC Awards issues results and qualification certificates within ten working days.
